In Deacon's Waiting for Goddess series, God is depicted as a Blak woman who emerges from the heavens only to find humanity living in a desert. Upon seeing the state of the world God does a triple take, suggesting her disapproval. In the fourth image, she returns to the heavens, apparently having seen quite enough.
