Goldene Bend’er linked three of ACCA’s galleries with new works that explored the body, transition and transformation, drawing on Dwyer’s customary use of materials and gestures. Comprising a wall painting, sculptural series and controversial opening performance, the exhibition was part of ACCA’s ongoing Influential Australian Artist series, which celebrates the works of artists who have made a significant contribution to the history of Australian art practice.
