Growers and Showers delves into the diverse materiality of Dale Frank’s expanded painting practice. Presented over two floors of the NAS Gallery, this significant survey exhibition includes over 40 large-scale paintings made over the last decade.

Dale Frank After the incident and forced retirement ex-Senior Manager of Coles Budgewoi, Roger, always immaculately dressed, well spoken, at the end of an exceedingly long day living alone in his sparse self contained granny flat below his 94 year old mothers house in Sunrise Avenue, would take the short drive in his prized crimson red two door 1996 Integra to Colongra Swamp Park every Monday and Thursday late afternoons to collect mud crabs in the receding tide, and were he would meet Kyle who lived across the road in the Ingenia Lifestyle Sunnylake Shores Retirement Mobile home park, share a few private hours, listen to Kyle’s Vietnam stories, maybe share a delivered meal from San Remo Chinese takeaway, and give Kyle a full body massage which he thought often about and sometimes happened, and leave well before Winona, Kyle’s wife returned from Bowls, 2021; 200 x 240 cm; enquire
